Man In His 30s Found Dead In Blackburn Woodland

A man in his 30s was sadly pronounced dead at the scene despite best efforts of emergency services.

Emergency services rushed to the scene in Blackburn yesterday afternoon.

Officers from Lancashire Police and the North West Ambulance Service attended a woodlands area on Preston Old Road in Feniscowles at around 3pm on Thursday afternoon following reports of a sudden death.

Despite the best efforts of emergency services, a man in his 30s was sadly pronounced dead at the scene, and his next of kin have been informed.

A spokesperson for Lancashire Police said,

“We received a report of a sudden death in a wooded area near to the Spar Garage on Preston Old Road, Blackburn, at around 3pm yesterday (September 12).

Officers attended, and despite the best efforts of the emergency services, a man in his 30s was pronounced dead at the scene.

“His loved ones are aware, and our thoughts are with them at this sad time.His death isn’t being treated as suspicious, and a file will be passed to the coroner in due course.”
