Bay Veteran Association is a non-profit charity group offering all veterans a place to go for a brew and a chat.
Bay Veteran Association is a non-profit charity group in Morecambe facilitated by Rob Letch and Gary Kniveton set up a year ago today.
It gives veterans the chance to come along to a warm and welcoming environment and have a brew and a chat and meet other veterans.
The group operates Mon-Thurs 10-4pm at 66-68 Euston Road, Morecambe.
A spokesperson for Bay Veteran Association said in a social media post,
“Today BAY VETERANS ASSOCIATION has reached its first anniversary operating in the Morecambe Bay area of Lancashire.
Today we have marked the occassion with a fabulous turnout this morning from some of our membership along with our very own D- Day veteran Richard Brock who very kindly cut the cake to mark the occassion.

From all the team at BVA, we would like to pass on a huge thankyou to all our members and the local community within Morecambe Bay area for your continued support.
We are looking forward to a bright future and meeting new members.
In a social media post, Lancashire Police said,
“Today we were invited to the 1 year anniversary celebration of the Bay Veterans Association at 66-68 Euston Rd, Morecambe.
A fantastic non-profit charity facilitated by Rob Letch and Gary Kniveton. This is a friendly and welcoming environment for ‘ALL’ veterans.
The BVA is open Monday – Thursday 10 – 4pm. Come in and have a brew and a chat.
