The death is not being treated as suspicious and file is being prepared for HM Coroners Office.
A police cordon remained in place on Sunday after the discovery of a man’s body in Moor Park close to Blackpool Road.
Officers were called to the area around 10:30am this morning (Sunday 8th September) were the body of a man in his 30s were sadly found deceased.
Onlookers attending the BBC Radio 2 in the park festival looked on in shock as police descended on the park with a cordon blocking access to one of the footpaths whilst officers investigated the discovery.
Lancashire Police confirmed this was not connected with BBC Radio 2 in the park festival.
The death is not being treated as suspicious, and a file will be prepared and passed onto the HM Coroners Office in due course.
