A 34-year-old man from Blackburn were detained and remains in police custody.
Lancashire Police have arrested an individual following reports that a man was trying car door handles in the town.
The incident happened in the waterside area of Darwen at around 4am this morning.
Lancashire Police confirmed that a 34-year-old man was arrested and remains in custody.
In a post made today, Lancashire Police said,
“We have arrested a man following several vehicle interferences in Darwen.
We were called to an address on waterside, Darwen, at around 04:00am to reports of an individual on the street trying car door handles.
On arrival officers obtained CCTV footage, and a suspect was identified and arrested.
A 34 year old man from Blackburn was arrested on suspicion of vehicle interference and is currently in custody.
