Around 180k of drugs were found inside the vehicle when police searched it on the M6 near Carlisle.
A man from Wigan has been charged with drug offences following a proactive stop in Cumbria yesterday.
Cumbria Police stopped a vehicle on the M6 near Carlisle yesterday and found approximately £180k worth of amphetamine inside the vehicle.
A 31-year-old man will appear before court today.
In a post made today, Cumbria Police said,
“A man has been charged after a proactive police stop led to amphetamine, worth an approximate £180,000, being seized.
Craig Molyneux, aged 31, of Ashton-in-Makerfield, Wigan, has been charged with possession with intent to supply amphetamine and possession of criminal property.
Molyneux is remanded in police custody ahead of a court appearance at North Cumbria Magistrates’ Court today.
The charge follows a proactive stop of a vehicle on the M6 near Carlisle yesterday afternoon.
