Crews were in attendance for over two hours on Wednesday morning.
Emergency services rushed to the scene in the early hours of Wednesday morning in Kirkham.
The two storey domestic property in Freckleton Road suffered an explosion just after 2am on Wednesday morning.
Fire engines from Wesham and South Shore attended the scene along with the Urban Search and Rescue Unit.
Crews used a drone to monitor the property and a gas monitor to ensure the scene was made safe.
It is not known if anyone was inside the property at the time of the explosion.
A spokesperson for Lancashire Fire & Rescue Service said,
“Two fire engines from Wesham and South Shore, Urban Search and Rescue, and the drone attended an explosion of a two-storey domestic property on Freckleton Road, Kirkham.
Crews used a gas monitor and made the scene safe.
Crews were in attendance for two hours and fifteen minutes.
