North West Ambulance Service rushed to the scene this morning in Ribbleton.
A woman in her 50s was rushed to hospital after suffering a cardiac arrest in Preston.
North West Ambulance Service were called to an address on Burholme Close in Ribbleton shortly after 5am today (Sunday 1st September)
Two ambulances and a rapid response car attended the address.
On arrival, a woman was found in cardiac arrest. Crews worked at the scene before the woman was rushed to Royal Preston Hospital, where she was sadly pronounced deceased a short time later.
Ambulance Crews were on scene for approximately forty minutes.
