Witness Appeal Following Man’s Death Outside Blackpools Squires Gate Morrisons

Lancashire Police confirm that while the man’s death was sudden and unexpected, the death is not being treated as suspicious.

Lancashire Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward following the death of a man who was found unresponsive outside a Blackpool Morrisons on Friday.

In an appeal made today, Blackpool Police said,

“We are appealing for witnesses after a man sadly died after being found unresponsive outside the Squires Gate Morrisons in Blackpool yesterday.

Our officers were called to Amy Johnson Way to reports a man in his 50s had been found collapsed outside the store.

Despite the best efforts of the emergency services, he later sadly died at Blackpool Victoria Hospital. Our thoughts are with his loved ones at this distressing time.

While the man’s death was sudden and unexpected, it is not being treated suspicious at this time.

We are asking for anybody who was in and around the store who saw what led to the man collapsing to come forward.
