Police Appeal Following Collision That Left A Motorcyclist Seriously Injured

A man in his 40s was taken to hospital with serious injuries where he remains in a stable condition.

Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward following a collision that left a motorcyclist with serious injuries in Skelmersdale.

In an appeal made today, Lancashire Police said,

“We are appealing for witnesses after a collision in Skelmersdale which left a motorcyclist with serious injuries.

We were called at around 6:55pm yesterday evening (Thursday, August 29th) to reports of a collision involving a Citroen C4 car and a Suzuki motorbike on Neverstitch Road.

The motorcyclist, a man in his 40’s, was taken to hospital with serious injuries, and his condition is described as stable.

The car driver was uninjured.

The road was closed for a time while we dealt with the incident.

We are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision or who has any CCTV or dashcam or mobile footage to get in touch.
