A 15-year-old boy was being held on suspicion of dwelling burglaries that took place across Chorley between July and August.
Lancashire Police have arrested a 15-year-old boy as part of an investigation following a spate of burglaries across Chorley.
The boy from Preston remains in custody for questioning.
In an update posted today, Chorley Police said,
“We have arrested a teenager in connection with a number of burglaries across Chorley which happened between July and August.
Following enquiries, the South Residential Burglary Team arrested a 15-year-old boy from Preston. He is now being questioned on suspicion of Burglary in a dwelling.
Operation Defender is a force-wide campaign that aims to combat residential burglary with support from Lancashire’s Police and Crime Commissioner Clive Grunshaw.
