A young child was knocked to the floor when an off-road bike rode through the Spudbro queue on Preston Flag Market earlier this month
A 15-year-old boy had been charged with multiple offences confirm Preston Police.
This follows on from an incident where a young child was knocked to the ground after an off-road bike rode through a queue on the Flag Market. Thankfully, the child was left uninjured. A video of the incident was widely shared online.
In an update this afternoon, Preston Police said,
“You might remember seeing a video on social media earlier this month of a motorbike colliding with a child on Preston’s Flag Market.
Just to remind you, we were called just after 12pm on 14th August to reports of a collision. Thankfully, the child was not injured.
Yesterday, we told you that we had arrested a teenager in connection with this incident and several other offences and we just wanted to provide a further update.
A 15-year-old boy from Preston has now been charged with two counts of burglary, failing to report an accident, dangerous driving, driving without a licence, driving without insurance and assault.
He has been remanded into custody and will appear before Preston Youth Court today.
