A man wanted by police for a nasty assault on a woman in Darwen has been arrested.
Lancashire Police made an appeal earlier today to track down Jonathon Crook who they would like to speak to in relation to this alleged offence, which took place earlier this month.
In a statement released this afternoon, Lancashire Police said,
“Afternoon all
We asked for your help earlier to find a Jonathon Crook who we wanted to speak to about a nasty assault on a woman in Darwen earlier this month.
Just to update you he has now been arrested.
Many thanks for all your help and have a happy and a safe weekend.
