Preston Man Charged With String Of Burglaries

A man from Preston has been charged with a string of offences following an investigation into burglary in the city.

In a statement released today, Preston Police said,

“A man has been charged with two burglaries, eight attempted burglaries and the theft of a pedal cycle after an investigation by Preston Police’s Burglary Team.

Christopher Booth, 37, of no fixed address, was arrested in Preston yesterday afternoon (14th August).

The burglaries and attempted burglaries were all reported in the St Thomas Road area of Preston on 11th July.

After consultation with the Crown Prosecution Service, Booth was charged with eleven offences in total.

He has been remanded to appear before Preston Magistrates’ Court today.
