Minor delays are expected in Preston this afternoon due to a collision.
The collision happened on Pope Lane at the junction of the new community gateway housing estate close to Herons Food.
The non injury collision is causing minor delays for motorists travelling from Blackpool Road towards Moor Nook whilst recovery of the vehicle is arranged.
One vehicle is currently blocking the road, the road is currently open, but expect slight delays as motorists manoeuvre around the car that is thought to be a taxi.
Locals report that the taxi was pulling out of the housing estate when another vehicle allegedly collided with it. The unknown vehicle then left the scene.
The incident happened at around 5:30pm today, Wednesday 14th August.
