Lancashire Police have launched an appeal after a man was left critically injured after falling from a tippet truck in Bacup.
In an appeal made today, Lancashire Police said,
“We are appealing for witnesses and footage after a man fell from a tipper truck and suffered serious injuries in Bacup on Thursday.
Our officers were called at 12.32pm Thursday to Rochdale Road, Bacup, to a report of a collision.
When they arrived, they found that a 66-year-old man had fallen from the back of a Ford tipper truck on to the road.
He was taken to hospital with serious head and spinal injuries and is in a critical condition.
If anyone witnessed the man fall or has dashcam footage from the area around the time, we ask them to contact us as we investigate how he came to fall.
