Police are appealing for anyone who witnesses an assault on a man in Blackpool that left him needing surgery.
The alleged assault is reported to have taken place on Devonshire Road on Tuesday morning shortly before 11am when a man walking down the street was assaulted.
In an appeal made today, Blackpool Police said,
“We are asking for your help following an assault on Devonshire Road, close to Peter Street, in Blackpool.
The victim was walking down Devonshire Road in Blackpool with a woman when he has been approached by a man close to Peter Street. The man is reported to have assaulted the victim, inflicting an injury leaving him requiring surgery.
The assault happened on Tuesday 6th August 2024 at around 10:45am.
