Lancashire Police are appealing for witnesses after a man sadly died following a collision in Rawtenstall on Friday night.
In a statement released today, Lancashire Police said,
“We are appealing for witnesses after a man sadly died following a collision in Rawtenstall last night.
Our officers were called to an alleyway off Parramatta Street, Rawtenstall, at around 11.20pm yesterday (26th July).
They found that an Audi A5 car had been in collision with a man who was in the alleyway.
The man, who is in his 30s, was very sadly pronounced deceased at the scene.
Our thoughts are with the man’s family and loved ones, and they are being supported by specially trained officers.
As part of our investigation, we are appealing for witnesses to the collision and we want anyone who walked past this alleyway off Parramatta Street around the time it happened, to get in contact.
