Man Charged In Rikki Berry Murder Investigation

A man had been charged in connection with the murder of Rikki Berry.

Rikki was shot in his front garden in Quarryside Drive, Kirby, on Wednesday 17th July, shortly after 6.30pm, he sadly died a short time later in hospital.

In an update released today, Merseyside Police said,

“We have charged a 25-year-old man with the murder of Rikki Berry in Kirkby on 17 July.

Detectives arrested three people in Oswestry in Shropshire on Wednesday 24 July.

Today, Friday 26 July, we have charged Adam Williams, of Bigdale Drive, Kirkby, with murder. He was remanded into custody to appear at Liverpool magistrates court this afternoon.

A 24-year-old man of no fixed abode and a 21-year-old woman from Kirkby, have both been bailed pending further enquiries.
