Man From Lancashire Charged With String Of Sexual Offences Including Rape

A man from Lancashire has been charged with various sexual offences by Greater Manchester Police.

The offences are alleged to have taken place in the Wigan area. The man aged 27 has been remanded into custody.

In an update posted to their website, Greater Manchester Police said,

“Connor Pennell (05/10/1997) of Vines Cross Way, Skelmersdale has been charged with the following:

• Two counts of rape
• Sexual assault by penetration
• Sexual assault
• Controlling and coercive behaviour
• Non-fatal strangulation


He has been remanded into custody and will appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court on Saturday 20 July 2024.
