A man has been charged following an investigation by officers to reports a woman was followed by a man in Lytham St Annes.
In an update by the force, Fylde Police said,
“You may recall a recent post about an incident where a female had been followed by an unknown male in the St Annes area.
Fylde Rural Task Force have now identified and arrested a male in connection with this incident.
We can confirm the male, aged 45, from Kettering has now been charged with a public order offence of causing harassment, alarm or distress. The male will appear before Lancaster Magistrates Court on 30th August 2024.
We are not looking for any other persons in connection with this matter.
We hope this provides reassurance to our local community.
