Police in Preston have seized a stolen Motorbike after reports of anti-social behaviour.
In a social media update, Preston Police said,
“Whilst undertaking Community Engagement activities, PC163, Broadgate CBM noticed a suspicious motorbike outside a residential property. The motorbike had been given a makeover by its new users, including a low-budget paint job, to try to disguise its true identity.
Checks were made, and the motorbike was confirmed as stolen, having been taken from its rightful owner earlier in the week. The motorbike was seized and recovered and is no longer being used on the road network.
There have been a number of recent reports from the residents of Broadgate regarding anti-social use of motorbikes. Please be assured that we are listening, and we will take action to remove these vehicles from the roads whenever possible.
If you have any information regarding similar motorbikes causing a nuisance in your area, then please make contact via 101.
