LFRS Tackle Blaze After Rubbish Fire Spreads To House In Grimsargh

Firefighters from Preston attended a property in Grimsargh yesterday evening after rubbish that was on fire spread to a nearby property.

Posting on their website, Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service said,

“At 20:47, two fire engines from Preston attended a house fire on Orchard Walk, Preston.

The incident involved a quantity of rubbish that had spread to a house.

Firefighters used one hose reel, two breathing apparatus, a positive pressure ventilation fan, and a thermal imaging camera to bring the fire under control and were on scene for just over one hour.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
