Morecambe Domestic Building Fire
On 6th July 2024 at 12:55 hours, one fire engine from Morecambe attended an incident on Peplow Road, Heysham. The incident involved a domestic property heavily smoke-logged due to cooking. The fire service used two breathing apparatus and a ventilation fan. The fire service remained at the scene for one hour and ten minutes.
Carnforth Road Traffic Collision
On Saturday, 6th July 2024, at 16:55 hours, three fire engines from Carnforth, Lancaster, and Bolton le Sands attended a road traffic collision on Capernwray Road, Carnforth. The collision involved two vehicles. Two casualties were extricated from a vehicle by fire service personnel. Firefighters remained at the scene for thirty-five minutes.
Burnley Domestic Building Fire
On Saturday, 6th July 2024, at 10:50 hours, two fire engines from Burnley and Padiham attended a fire on Brownhill Avenue, Burnley. The fire involved a sofa at the rear of a domestic property. Firefighters used one hose reel to extinguish the fire. Fire crews were in attendance for approximately one hour and ten minutes.
Burnley Outbuilding Fire
On Saturday, 6th July 2024, at 09:48 hours, two fire engines from Burnley and Nelson were mobilised to Felix Street, Burnley. The fire involved a shed. Firefighters used one hose reel to extinguish the fire. Crews remained at the scene for forty-five minutes.
Blackpool Derelict Building Fire
At 17:45 hours on Friday, 5th July 2024, fire engines from South Shore, Blackpool, and St Annes attended a fire on St Bedes Avenue, Blackpool. The fire involved a derelict property. Fire crews used two breathing apparatus and two hose reels to extinguish the fire.
Blackburn Domestic Building Fire
At 17:26 hours on Friday, 5th July 2024, two fire engines from Blackburn attended an incident on Carnforth Close, Blackburn. The fire involved the kitchen of a domestic property. Two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used one thermal imaging camera, one positive pressure ventilation fan, and one hearth kit to extinguish the fire. Crews were in attendance for approximately thirty minutes.
Briercliffe Domestic Building Fire
At 17:17 on Friday, 5th July 2024, two fire engines from Burnley attended a domestic building fire on May Tree Close, Briercliffe. While in attendance, crews used four breathing apparatus, one hose reel, and one positive pressure ventilation unit. Crews remained at the scene for approximately one hour and fifteen minutes.
Blackpool Outbuilding Fire
At 11:54 hours on Friday, 5th July 2024, two fire engines from Blackpool and Bispham attended an outbuilding fire on Luton Road, Blackpool. While in attendance, crews used two breathing apparatus and one hose reel. The fire service remained at the scene for forty minutes.
Blackpool Garage Fire
On Thursday, 4th June, at 15:35hrs, three fire engines from Blackpool and South Shore attended a domestic building fire on Station Road, Blackpool. The fire involved a garage attached to the property, and firefighters used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel, a ventilation fan, and a thermal imaging camera to bring the incident under control. They were in attendance for one hour.
Poulton-le-Fylde Commercial Building Fire
On Wednesday 3rd July at 18:37hrs Four fire engines from Blackpool, South Shore, and Bispham responded to a fire at a commercial property on Breck Road in Poulton-le-Fylde
Firefighters used a hose reel and toolkit to extinguish the fire and remained on the scene for approximately one hour and twenty minutes.
Blackpool Domestic Building Fire
On Sunday, 30th June, at 16:15hrs, three fire engines from South Shore and Blackpool attended a domestic building fire on Thornber Grove, Blackpool. Crews extinguished the fire using four breathing apparatus, one hose reel, and one positive pressure ventilation fan. Crews were in attendance for one hour and twenty minutes.
Out Rawcliffe Animal Resuce
On Sunday, 30th June, at 14:98hrs Two fire engines from Bispham and Fleetwood attended a large animal rescue on Whin Lane, Out Rawcliffe. Firefighters used large animal rescue equipment to rescue one colt from a ditch. Firefighters were in attendance for one hour and five minutes.
