Tenants of a property in Blackpool that were the subject of a drug raid earlier this week could be evicted as police work alongside partner agencies – Blackpool Coastal Housing.
In a social media update, Blackpool Police said,
“On Tuesday 2nd July, Blackpool Neighbourhood Policing team, working in conjunction with Blackpool Coastal Housing, conducted a drugs warrant at an address on Clifton Ward.
Two people were arrested for possession with intent to supply drugs. A quantity of drugs and associated paraphernalia were seized from the address.
This is an ongoing investigation. However, this would not have been possible without information provided from the public.
Blackpool Coastal Housing are currently looking into evicting the tenants.
If you have any concerns in relation to the supply of drugs in your area, this can be reported by ringing 101. Alternatively this can be reported online via Lancashire Police website or via Crimestoppers.
