Police Appeal After Fleetwood Collision Left Man With Hip Injuries

Police are appealing for information after a pedestrian was left injured following a collision.

The incident happened in Fleetwood on Sunday evening when a Vauxhall Corsa collided with a man.

The man in his 30s was taken to hospital for treatment.

In a social media appeal, Fylde Police said,

“We’re appealing for your help after a collision in Fleetwood.

We received a report this morning, of a collision between a pedestrian and a white Vauxhaull Corsa-type car on Fleetwood Road near to Flakefleet Primary School. The collision is reported to have happened between 5:20pm and 6pm on Sunday, June 30.

The pedestrian, a man in his 30s was taken to hospital later that evening, with an injury to the hip. He remains in hospital.

We know that the Corsa-type vehicle did stop at the scene, but later left after speaking to the pedestrian.  We now want to speak to them in connection with this incident.
