17- Year-Old Girl Arrested For Drink Driving On The M6 After Blowing 95

Lancashire Police received information from concerned members of the public travelling on the M6 motorway in the early hours of this morning of a car and the way it was being driven.

Cops quickly traced down the vehicle and breathalysed the driver who blew 95 at the roadside. The 17-year-old girl was arrested and has since been charged.

In a social media update, Lancashire Police said,

“At around 1am yesterday (30th June) we were alerted by a concerned member of the public travelling on the M6 about the way another vehicle was being driven on the M6 southbound near Preston.

Officers from our Spec Ops team located the Peugeot car and stopped it at Charnock Richard services.

The driver, a 17-year-old girl, blew 95 at the roadside and was arrested on suspicion of driving with excess alcohol.

She has since been charged with driving with excess alcohol and bailed to appear at Preston Youth Court on 16th July.
