Two Casualties Rescued From Darwen House Fire

Emergency services rushed to the scene of a house fire in the early hours of this morning, Wednesday 26th June.

The incident happened at a domestic property shortly after 03:30am on Cloister Drive in Darwen.

In an update posted online, Lancashire Fire & Rescue Service said,

Three fire engines from Darwen and Blackburn attended a fire at a property on Cloister Drive in Darwen.

Crews used four breathing apparatus, one hose reel, a triple extension ladder, and a positive pressure ventilation unit at the incident.

Two casualties were rescued by fire crews. Crews were in attendance for approximately one hour and forty minutes.
