Emergency services rushed to the scene at Deepdale Retail Park this morning after a car collided with Poundland.
The incident happened shortly after 10:30am today, Wednesday 19th June,
Images from the scene show a car that appears to have crashed through the metal barriers and into the window at the front of the store. A large emergency presence could be seen at the scene as shocked shoppers looked on.

A Lancashire Fire & Rescue Service Spokesperson said,
“At 10:34 on 18 June, four fire engines from Preston, Fulwood, Bamber Bridge, and Chorley, together with specialist Urban Search and Rescue (USAR) appliances, attended a road traffic collision on Blackpool Road, Preston.
The incident involved one vehicle that had struck a commercial building. Firefighters worked to make the scene safe.

One casualty received treatment from Lancashire Constabulary officers and North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) paramedics. Crews remained in attendance for an hour and twenty minutes.
Lancashire Police confirmed their attendance at a minor injury RTC.
