Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a man in his 70s suffered injuries following an assault.
In a social media appeal, Lancaster and Morecambe Police said,
“We were called at 9.50pm yesterday (Monday, June 17th) to a report of an assault at Lancaster Bus Station.
Officers attended to find that a male in his 70s had been had pushed over and received an injury to his neck.
A 17-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of assault and remains in custody. We are appealing to anyone who was present in the bus station at the time and witnessed this incident to please get in touch.
