A woman has been charged with multiple shoplifting offences across Blackpool.
In a social media update, Blackpool Police said,
“A woman has been charged following a string of shoplifting incidents across Blackpool.
On 11th June 2024, it was reported to us that a number of cleaning products had been taken from a store on Waterloo Road, Blackpool. A 37 year old woman was arrested.
Olivia McNeil, 37, of no fixed address, has since been charged with 12 shoplifting offences across Blackpool and has been remanded to appear on 10th July 2024.
Operation Vulture is Lancashire Constabulary’s response to shoplifting across the county. The operation will see dedicated officers undertaking hotspot patrolling, increasing their visibility in targeted areas and creating strong partnerships with retailers across the county to better share intelligence, get a deeper understanding of retail crime and identify more offenders.
