Police are advising motorists to find alternative routes this evening as they deal with a concern for welfare.
In a social media post, Colne and West Craven Police said,
“We’re currently at the scene of road closures on Knotts lane between the A56 and Bridge St, and on the A56 between the Jct with Leach St and the Jct with Bridge St.
The roads are closed due to a concern for welfare and we anticipate this will be closed for some time.
We’ll provide an update once cleared and thank you in advance for your patience.
