A man who exposed himself over the weekend has been charged by police.
In a social media update, Lancashire Police said,
“We have charged a man as part of an investigation into a report of indecent exposure in Burnley.
We were called to The Big Window in Manchester Road at 7.56pm on Sunday following reports a man had exposed himself.
Our officers attended and arrested a man in his 70s.
Following consultation with the Crown Prosecution Service, David Nightingale, 76, of Acre Avenue, Bacup, was charged with exposure.
He was remanded into custody to appear at Blackburn magistrates this morning.
