A dispersal order has been put in place in the Blackpool area due to anti-social behaviour.
In a social media post, Blackpool Police said,
“We want to let you know that a section 34 dispersal order has been put in place in Blackpool. It covers the areas seen in the attached map.
It is in place today (June 8) from 8pm to 7am (June 9) and covers New Bonny St, Central Dr, Chappel St and the new Promenade.
The Section 34 dispersal order, under the Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014 allows a police officer to direct any person who is in the designated area to leave the area and not to return within a specified time period.
You may see more of our officers out and about whilst this is in place. If you have any concerns, please don’t hesitate to speak to them.
