Charges have been brought against ten suspects after a large scale Police seizure of prescription drugs being sold on the black market in Cheetham Hill.
In a social media update, Greater Manchester Police said,
“In November 2022, Operation Vulcan executed a warrant at a premises on Rugby Street in Cheetham Hill and recovered £2 million pounds worth of prescription drugs – deemed the largest single seizure of prescription drugs in the UK to date.
Ten individuals have been charged with conspiracy to supply class B drugs, conspiracy to supply class C drugs, and conspiracy to conceal criminal property. They will next appear at Manchester Magistrates Court on Tuesday 23 July.
