Lancashire Police’s Chief Constable has given an extra special thanks to those who volunteer within the organisation.
In a social media post, Lancashire Police said,
120 Special Constables
260 Police Support Volunteers
100 Volunteer Police Cadet Leaders
They make up our amazing police volunteer team! This week its National Volunteers Week, so we’re giving our invaluable volunteers an extra special shout out.
Our volunteers play a crucial role in helping the force to achieve its primary objectives of preventing and fighting crime and keeping our communities and people safe.
