Greater Manchester Police are warning about the increase of theft from persons in Bolton towncente.
In a statement released today, GMP Bolton said,
“There has been an increase in theft from persons within the town centre, particularly by means of pick pocketing.
We are currently investigating these reports and are working hard to identify the persons responsible. Officers will be patrolling the town centre to prevent crime and provide reassurance to the community.
Please remain vigilant, ensuring you keep all bags and pockets securely fastened and all valuables out of sight and in order.
