A man who was wanted on prison recall took to the rooftop of a residential property in Darwen.
Lancashire police confirmed emergency services were called to Hindle Street in the town yesterday afternoon, this included Police, Lancashire Fire & Rescue Service and the North West Ambulance Service.
A cordon was put in place whilst officers negotiated with the man. An aerial ladder was used to bring the man down to safety.
A spokesperson for Lancashire Police said,
“There was a man wanted on prison recall on top of a roof of a property in Hindle Street. He came down after a few hours and was arrested.
