Police are advising motorists to find alternative routes after a road traffic accident in East Lancashire this morning, the road is expected to be closed for some time.
In a social media update, Burnley and Padiham Police said,
“Good Morning, we are currently dealing with a road traffic collision on Bacup Road Cliviger.
The road is currently closed from the junction with Todmorden Road in Burnley through to Crown Point Road. Please avoid the area as it will be closed for some time.
In an update by Lancashire Police at 10:20hrs they confirm the road is now fully reopen.
