A motorbike has been seized, and the driver reported after residents report it being ridden in an anti-social manner and speeding.
In a social media post, Chorley Police said,
“Today, 28/05/24 Police responded to a report that there were two motorbikes being driven around the Coppull area, specifically around the Chapel Walk and Spendmore Lane areas.
The report stated that the bike was being ridden in an anti-social manner and at speed. Police have managed to stop one of the bikes, and the driver has been reported for:
Disqualified driving
No insurance
The bike has also been seized under Section 136 of the Road Traffic Act. Riding bikes whilst disqualified, with no insurance and in an anti-social manner, will not be tolerated, and positive action will always be taken.
