Lancashire Police have thanked members of the public for sharing their appeal to identify a suspect after a man suffered serious head injuries in an assault earlier this month.
In a statement released today, Blackpool Police said,
“Earlier this month, we asked for your help to identify a man we wanted to speak to in connection with a serious assault in Blackpool.
Our officers were called to Devonshire Square, Blackpool, at 10pm on 11th May following reports a man had been found in the street with a serious head injury having been assaulted inside and outside a public house.
We have now arrested a man in his 30s from Blackpool and he is currently in custody.
