Oldham Men Charged With Attempted Murder After Firearm And Knife Incident

Two men have been charged with attempted murder after an incident in Oldham last week.

In a statement, Greater Manchester Police said,

“Stephen Wilson (07/08/1995) from Salford and Jordan Aston (03/02/1991) of No Fixed Abode have both been charged with attempt murder and possession of an offensive weapon.

They have been remanded and will appear this morning at Manchester Magistrates court.

The charges relate to an incident which occurred on Busk Road, Oldham Wednesday 22 May 2024, at around 8:30pm when patrols were called to Royal Oldham Hospital Accident & Emergency as well as to Busk Road, following a man presenting himself with gunshot wounds and another receiving serious knife wounds at the scene.
