A man has been arrested after an online peadophile hunting group attended his address to confront him about alleged online conversations involving children.
The suspect from Preston can be seen in a live video being led away by police officers in handcuffs as neighbouring residents can be heard shouting explicits towards the man whilst he’s being led away to a waiting undercover police car.
Posting the footage to their social media page, peadophile hunting group Newcastle Hunters said, “finally after two hours, two locksmiths and a big red key the suspect has been arrested in suspicion of talking sexually online to a child and arranging to meet a child for sex.
The group first started their Facebook page back in 2021 and have amassed over 100,000 followers, they showcase their work by posting stings and updated court results on suspects they’ve apprehended, up to date they have had over 300 convictions and hundreds more still on bail and going through the court system. The highest sentence given was a combined total of 38 years to a couple who were grooming children online.
Thousands of people are able to watch online as awareness is brought about, identifying the perpetrators and ultimately protecting children from predators who use the Web to prey on their victims.
