A road in Accrington is currently closed by police due to an ongoing incident. No further details have been released.
Police, ambulance & Lancashire Fire & Rescue Service are all in attendance and a cordon is in place.
Motorists are being advised to avoid the area where possible.
In a social media post, Hynburn Police said,
Please be aware that Abbey St, Accrington is currently closed between Blackburn Rd and Warner St due to an ongoing police incident.
Please avoid the area where possible.
Updated: 13:40hrs Police were called to a concern for welfare after reports of a man on the roof of a building. The incident has now been resolved and the roads around the town centre have been fully reopen.
