Lancashire Police have released an update into their investigation of reports from members ofthe public relating to a man acting suspiciously by approaching women and children in the street.
“The incidents happened in the Manor Drive area of Cleveleys.
In a statement, Thornton and Cleveleys Police said,
“Yesterday, we told you that we were investigating reports of a man approaching several people, including a woman and children, in the Manor Drive area of Cleveleys and acting suspiciously.
The man made off from the scene on each occasion, with no one harmed.
Just to update you, we have this afternoon arrested a man as part of our ongoing enquiries, and he remains in custody. “
