Appeal After Teen Suffers Broken Arm In Blackburn Hit & Run

Police have launched an investigation after a 15-year-old boy was knocked off his bike in Blackburn hit and run incident.

The boy who was riding in his bike along Park Lee Road on the evening of Wednesday 8th May suffered a broken arm as a result of the collision. Police are now asking for the publics help to try and identify the driver.

In a social media post, Blackburn with Darwen Police said, “We are appealing for witnesses, CCTV or dashcam footage after a 15 year old boy was injured following a collision in Blackburn
The collision happened on Park Lee Road in Blackburn at around 7:50pm. On Wednesday 8th May.

The boy was riding a bicycle, travelling west on Park Lee Road, when a black BMW with heavily tinted windows has exited an alleyway between Noorul Uloom Faith School and Mowbray Avenue.

The boy was taken to hospital with a broken arm and has since been discharged.
The driver failed to stop, turned left, and headed towards Royal Blackburn Teaching Hospital.

Enquiries are ongoing to identify the driver.
