Skelmersdale Police Discover Revolver In Knife Amnesty Bin

As Operation Sceptre continues across the county, on its third day Police in Skelmersdale provide an update after emptying one of their amnesty bins.

Amongst several bladed articles police officers discovered a revolver inside the bin, posting an update on to their social media account, Skelmersdale Police said the following,

“As part of #OPSCEPTRE, officers have emptied the knife bins across Skelmersdale, and we have recovered the following:

4 x Axe
265 x Kitchen Knives
8 x Hunting Knives
2 x Craft Knives
2 x Throwing Knives
1 x Knuckle Duster
1 x Hammer
3 x Scissors
2 x Daggers
1 x Screwdriver

Can’t  even believe we found a Revolver also!

If you have any knives to dispose of, please dispose of them at the following knife bin locations:

Tanhouse Community Centre, Tanhouse
Evermoor Hub, Digmoor
Skelmersdale Police Station, Southway
