Police Car Severely Damaged In Layton Crash – Arrests Made

A Police Dog vehicle has been severely damaged after colliding with a flatbed van in the Layton area this evening.

Pictures from the scene show what appears to be a white flatbed van that has collided with a garden brickwall of a residential property on Wilford Street, a police car can be seen also severely damaged has a result of the collision.

Eye witnesses at the scene say, two people have been arrested, a police dog was on board the vehicle at the time of the collision, no reports of injuries have been disclosed.

The incident happened on Wilford street in the  Layton area of Blackpool.

The road remains closed with a police cordon in place.
