A main road in Burnley is currently closed due to a road traffic collision.
Police are warning drivers to avoid the area where possible as the force anticipates the road to be closed for a considerable amount of time whilst emergency services work at the scene.
In a social media post Burnley and Padiham Police said, ” ***Road Closure***
Good Morning, we are currently dealing with a road traffic collision on Crown Point Road Burnley. The road is currently closed entirely from Burnley Road to Woodplumpton Road. Please avoid the area as we expect the road to be closed for some time.
