A man who absconded whilst on day release in Preston City Centre last week is still being sought by Police.
Lancashire Police said, “Over the past few days we’ve been asking for your help to find Shaun Paul Smith, who absconded during a visit to Preston from a secure unit on Thursday. Since then, an investigation has found that Smith travelled to East Lancashire, so we’re asking the public to be vigilant and report any sightings to us.
We’re refreshing our appeal with some new images of Shaun, who also goes by the name Aemon Martin, taken on Bank Street, Rawtenstall on Friday 26th April.
As a reminder, he is white, with grey hair, slim build, a beard and moustache.
He was last seen wearing a hat, cream jeans, grey/red t-shirt, grey cardigan, black coat, black trainers and a backpack.
