A man has been sent to prison after he went on a rampage outside clitheroe police station in the early hours of Tuesday 23rd April causing damage to 4 police vehicles by slashing their tyres.
Lancashire Police said, “Today at Blackburn Magistrates a 49 year old male from Blackburn has been sentenced to 6 months in custody.
Bernard Rawstron had used a knife to cause damage to the tyres of 4 police vehicles at Clitheroe Police Station in the early hours of Tuesday 23rd April.
Rawstron pleaded guilty to damaging the vehicles and possession of a bladed article.
